In a controversial scenario reminiscent of the recent sex scandals which soiled the reputations of US teen queens Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus, steamy shots of Jess Origliasso have been posted on a porn weblog.

THE nude photographs of The Veronicas twin Jess Origliasso were hawked to a picture agency by an Australian man last week before being posted on a US porn site, it has emerged.

As management for the singer went to ground over the provocative pictures, a representative for picture agency Big Australia confirmed it had acquired four photographs of Origliasso from a man based in Australia last week.

The controversial shots, taken three years ago by the unknown owner of the photographs, were then bought by US porn site Fleshbot.com for “a minimal amount” and splashed over the amateur sex weblog.

Locally, the images - only one showing Origliasso topless - were also sold to Famous magazine before Confidential broke news of the shock rock ‘n’ roll scandal on Thursday.

In further proof that the topless shot is indeed Origliasso, the pop twin stopped short at denying the raunchy image was her in a message to fans on a web forum.

A forum on The Veronicas’ official site was flooded with hundreds of messages of support for the singer after the controversy erupted.

The devotees had been planning to send in photos and videos of themselves in bras as a symbolic gesture of support for Origliasso - a campaign she warned them against.

“You are all seriously the best support team,” Origliasso wrote.

“But I do not encourage any of you to send in photos. It will prompt people to imply that I have “encouraged” young girls to expose themselves.”
