BIG Brother has only been back on the box for less than 24 hours in Australia and already scandal has erupted, with nude shots of diminutive diva Rima already doing the rounds.
The sexually provocative snaps of the 1m-tall professional belly dancer from Melbourne carry the logo of a website that encourages women of all ages, sizes and backgrounds to post racy images of themselves online.
Rima, 24, was born in Melbourne of Lebanese parents.
Her Big Bro bio reads: “She’s feisty, outspoken and opinionated with a dry sense of humour. Married for just a year, Rima’s husband is excited about her decision to go into the Big Brother house. She’s a small package with a big personality.”
The explicit shots come from a porn website that refers to itself as a public art project that makes a bold statements about nudity, fame and the internet. The site displays naked self-portraits, shots of “women in control of their own image. It’s also performance art, it’s fun, it’s liberating, and it’s reality.”
Rima starred in the Melbourne Theatre Company’s production of The Pillowman last year opposite Aussie stars Joel Edgerton, Dan Wylie and Kim Gyngell.
She also performed at Sydney’s Royal Easter Show last year in The Psycho Sideshow of Anarchy as the “midget belly dancer” Tiny Rima.
